Summer Programme

The Natural History Museum of Jamaica’s Summer Programme is held in the month of August for ages 6-14 years old with organized activities based on the selected annual theme. The aim of this programme is to:

  • Create an immersive teaching experience outside of the classroom through scientific activities
  • Discover careers of Science
  • Develop an appreciation for Jamaica’s biodiversity 
  • Explore the wonders of nature

Summer Programme Highlights 2024

The Summer Programme was held on August 12-23, 2024 under the theme “My Environment & I”. The programme was funded by C.B Facey Foundation, TransJam Group (formerly Highway 2000 East-West) and the Programmes Coordination Division through funder, American Friends of Jamaica.
