The Museum’s Herbarium houses the largest botanical collections in the English speaking Caribbean.

It boasts over 130,000 specimens of Angiosperms, Gymnosperms, Ferns, Mosses, Algae, Liverworts, Fungi and also small collections of seeds, woods and fruits. The collection has an impressive 1,500 plant types and special collections of renowned botanists such as Ekman, Buch and Proctor.
