IJ Herbarium

The Institute of Jamaica Herbarium (IJ) holding houses the national botanical collections of Jamaica and thus concentrates primarily on the curation of Jamaican specimens. Through international partnerships, expeditions and fieldwork the collections have also acquired specimens that represent the regional flora. IJ is now one of the most representative with respect to the flora of Caribbean and Latin Americana. IJ is also the largest in the English speaking Caribbean.
